​Computers with Ms. Burke
Hello! My name is Katie Burke, and I am excited to be the Computers and Technology teacher this year at the Otis. I am so grateful to be part of this wonderful community of students, families, and educators, and share my love of learning with our scholars. This year students will learn necessary skills for completing digital projects (both in computers class and in other subjects), become more proficient in typing, and work on their designing and coding skills. We will work to become good digital citizens, embrace digital literacy, and make the use of technology in the classroom more accessible. Students will get the chance to understand different aspects of technology and the skills necessary to take their knowledge and creativity into their future. I can’t wait to see what our scholars will accomplish this year!
