Hello! My name is Mazda Delgado and I am so excited to teach music at the Otis this year. I recently graduated from Syracuse University with a B.M in Music Education and a M.S. in Inclusive Special Education. My goal is to inspire students to become lifelong music makers and supporters of the arts. In class, students will experience music from a wide variety of genres, cultures, and composers. They will explore this music through singing, dancing, and playing instruments. I am especially looking forward to leading our 5th-6th grade band program where students will have the opportunity to play flute, clarinet, trumpet or trombone. Outside of school I enjoy playing my trombone, running, and hanging out with my pet gecko.
